All Eeveelutions depend on your strategy.
Let’s start with #134 Vaporeon
It’s highest stat is Hp. Set up an Hp move (Ex. Aqua ring.) then use a special move. (Ex. Hydro pump, Ice beam.) To help with Electric Types use ground moves. (Ex. Mud-Slap, Dig) In a double battle put Vaporeon’s ability to use. If you have a second pokemon that knows surf or any water move you can hit Vaporeon with that move and restore it’s HP.
#135 Jolteon
It’s highest stat is Speed. To help it’s low defenses strike quickly and effectively again with a special based move. (Ex. Charge Beam, Thunder, Thunderbolt.) Same with Jolteon if you’re in a double battle a pokemon with discharge or another electric move you can restore Jolteon’s Hp. You can also compliment it’s special attack with other moves like Shadow Ball.
#136 Flareon.
It’s highest stat is Attack. Since most Fire moves are special based. forget about them. It doesn’t have to just know fire moves have it learn powerful Physical moves. (Dig, Fire fang, Iron tail, Super power.) Power up Flareon’s fire type moves by hitting it with a fire type move if it has the ability flash fire.
#196 Espeon
It’s highest stat is Special Attack. This is a no brainer since most if not all psychic moves are Special based. Speed is also on it’s side. Attack fast and hard. (Ex. Psychic, Morning Sun ((To heal. Bad defense.)), Shadow Ball, Signal Beam ((To Beat Dark type opponents.)))
#197 Umbreon
It’s best stat is Special Defense. (Also it’s second highest stat is defense.) Afflict Status to help with it’s low attack. (Ex. Toxic, Confuse Ray, Screech, Moonlight.) To Attack those pesky Psychic types with the ability synchronize throw in a physical dark type move. (Ex. Sucker Punch, Payback)
#470 Leafeon
It’s highest stat is defense. Not a big help against fire types so be careful with this one. It’s second highest stat is Attack. That means attack with a good physical move. (Ex. Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Seed bomb.) Another good strategy put them to sleep make it sunny then heal to cover it’s low Special Defense. (Ex. Grass whistle, Sunny day, Synthesis.)
Last but certainly not least #471 Glaceon
Like Espeon it highest stat is Special Attack. Instead of speed on it’s side it has Defense. Take it down with a power Special based Ice move. (Ex. Ice Beam, Blizzard, Hail. ((To make Blizzard 100% Accurate also it’s ability rises evasiveness when it’s hailing.))) To take down other Types. (Ex. Iron Tail ((To take Ice types down.)) Water Pulse or Aqua Tail, Dig ((To fire down. Or Rock Down)) Toxic. ((To help take down fighting since it does not learn any DAMAGE DEALING Psychic or flying moves.))
As you see each Eeveelution has it’s good and bad. To create a power house in one you must know it’s strengths and weaknesses besides type association. Good Luck.
